Textiles S. Kumars posts Rs 9-cr net Our Bureau
MUMBAI: S. Kumars Nationwide Ltd achieved a net profit of Rs 9.15 crore for the half-year ended March 2005 against a loss of Rs 71.02 crore in the corresponding previous half-year period. In a press release, the company said its turnover grew 23 per cent to Rs 344.53 crore (Rs 280.24 crore). The company also said that the corporate debt-restructuring package approved by the company's lenders was under implementation. Consequently, it had significantly pruned interest cost. It added that improved market conditions had helped it as well.
