Kolkata, May 25

GLOBSYN Business School (GBS) has launched its consulting division.

The idea behind the initiative is to provide management consultancy to mid-sized corporates with management development programmes that would focus on finance, marketing and HR.

The Kolkata-headquartered business school has also tied up with Jadavpur University for a diploma course in software engineering and business management.

From June 14, the education wing of GBS will offer a course on applied economics and data management in association with Calcutta University.

Talking to Business Line, Dr Bikram Dasgupta, Chairman & CEO of Globsyn Technologies, the flagship company, said that, in terms of the tie-up with both the universities, the diploma will be awarded by the concerned university.

Dr Dasgupta said the consulting division would concentrate on mid-sized corporates.
