New Products & Services Bose India launches new music system Our Bureau
New Delhi , May 25 WITH competition intensifying in the home music system category, Bose Corporation India Pvt Ltd on Wednesday launched a `Bose Wave' music system priced at Rs 29,900, the lowest priced system in the company's portfolio in India. The company is also looking at introducing more models within the price range of Rs 30,000-60,000 over the next six months. "We expect good numbers of the Bose Wave Music system to sell in the Indian market. It's a complete home system which can play CD, MP3 along with FM radio," Mr Ratish Pandey, General Manager, Bose India, told reporters here today. Talking about the introduction of the low-priced system, Mr Pandey said, "We are not reducing the price of our systems, we are providing a world-class system at a great price." In India, Bose owns nine exclusive stores and is looking to add two more over the next six months. A privately held company, Bose Corporation has eight manufacturing facilities globally, with an annual sales turnover of $1.7 billion.
