SATYAM Computer Services Ltd has announced its agreement with Meridian Systems to provide technology and implementation services to users of Meridian's infrastructure lifecycle management solution.

Satyam plans to establish and maintain a development environment to support several active customer projects of Meridian.

The General Manager of Satyam's Global Real Estate and Construction practice, Mr Balaji Senthiappan, in a statement said: "Our customers are seeking integrated solutions built on the latest in Service Oriented Architecture (SoA). Meridian's Proliance matches those demands and will enable Satyam to rapidly deploy and customise complete solutions that make possible better corporate performance and utilisation of physical infrastructure."

Satyam's key service offerings include project management, facilities management and GIS-based solutions.

Analyst firm IDC estimates that more than $3.5 trillion in capital infrastructure projects are under way globally, creating an addressable ILM (infrastructure lifecycle management) software and services market of $3.2 billion by 2008.

Meridian Systems provides enterprise solutions that optimise the plan, build and operate phases of real estate, construction and other physical infrastructure initiatives.
