Bajaj to launch Avenger

HYDERABAD: Bajaj Auto is set to launch Avenger, a cruiser bike, next month. The bike is expected to be priced at Rs 59,999 ex-showroom.

Speaking after the opening of the Siddi Vinayaka showroom at Bahadurpura in Hyderabad, the Regional Manager of Bajaj Auto, Mr B.K. Senapathi, said that of about 40,000 motorcycle sales in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad accounts for 12,000. Of this, Bajaj Auto accounts for 4,000 vehicles.

The Managing Director of Sri Siddi Vinayaka Automobiles, Mr K.V. Babul Reddy, said that in 2004-05, the company notched a turnover of Rs 75 crore and is planning more outlets.
