TVS Sons awarded ISO certification

Madurai , May 27

T.V. Sundram Iyengar and Sons Ltd, the parent company of TVS group, has bagged ISO 9001:2000 certification for its automobile dealership - after sales service business.

At a function held here on Friday, the certification was given by Mr K.S. Kumar, Executive Director (Marketing) of Ashok Leyland to Mr R. Dinesh, Executive Director of TVS & Sons.Mr L. Ramalingam, Deputy General Manager of TUV Suddeutschland India Private Ltd was also present on the occasion.

All the 16 outlets of TVS service stations in Tamil Nadu have bagged this certificate simultaneoulsy, covering multiple dealerships and locations.

TVS & Sons is the first dealer of Ashok Leyland and Fiat in the country to get this certification.

Speaking at the function, Mr Kumar appreciated the efforts of TVS in the quality drive in the Indian automobile industry.

Mr Dinesh assured that TVS would continue with its efforts involving total employee involvement for customer satisfaction.

He also mentioned that TVS would cover rest of its outlets across Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in a phased manner.
