Colgate PAT lower

MUMBAI: Colgate Palmolive India Ltd has reported a profit after tax of Rs 32.34 crore for the quarter ended March 2005 against Rs 36.68 crore in the year ago quarter.

Total revenue increased to Rs 252.61 crore during the quarter from Rs 236.84 crore in the year-ago period.

For the full year, profit after tax was Rs 113.29 crore against Rs 108 crore in the earlier year.

Total revenue increased to Rs 998.45 crore from Rs 969.11 crore in the previous year.

The group has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 112.43 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 112.39 crore for the previous year. Turnover increased to Rs 999.39 crore for the year from Rs 972.96 crore in the earlier year.
