Advice to IT students

HYDERABAD: The IBM Director (ASEAN SMB), Mr Ganesh Margabandu, has called upon the students of ICFAI School of Information Technology (ISIT) to develop strong functional skills and an ability to apply, adapt and integrate Information Technology in any business environment.

He was addressing the students of MCA - Class of 2007 - here on Monday. The IT students should keep themselves abreast of the state-of-the-art technologies and learn to apply the theory in developing information systems, he said.

ISIT, a constituent of the ICFAI University, offers a two-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme on full-time campus format. The programme is currently being offered at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune, according to an ICFAI release.
