Sateri bags Guam Telecom deal

SATERI Systems Inc has been awarded a three-year contract to implement its bill presentation and payment business solution in an application service provider model for the Guam Telecom Authority, US.

The company has also won a turnkey project for implementing GSM services for the island of Guam, Mr Lalit Mahadeshwar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sateri Systems, said here.

Talking to newspersons, he said Sateri had also upgraded GTA's enterprise level customer care and billing software and executed a turnkey project to launch long distance services. Concorde Telecommunications, a US company, has selected Sateri Systems to implement a real time work force management system. Sateri will also upgrade the enterprise level system of Waitsfield & Champlain Valley Telecom, a US-based rural telecom company.

Mr Mahadeshwar said the company has been growing at a 100 per cent rate for the past three years, adding that its new premises would be ready by the year-end. The investment would be around $1 million for the Pune operations, he added.
