Our Bureau

New Delhi , June 2

CHRISTEL House Open, a charity Golf tournament organised by Christel House, will be kicked off worldwide on June 13. It will be played simultaneously at 26 sites across 11 countries in five continents.

In India, it will be played at three centres - Bangalore, Pune and Delhi. The play will commence with the tee-off in Bangalore and conclude with the ball putted in the 18th hole in Hawaii. This will mark the Tier One Christel House Open and the two winning teams from each country will go on to play for the world title in the third annual Christel House Open in September in Indiana in the USA.

Sponsored by ING Vysya and a host of other companies such as 3Mindia, British Airways, Air Sahara and Swarovski on India, the tournament's proceeds will benefit the children of Christel House, an international charity focused on helping impoverished, orphaned or abandoned children. The House supports 550 children in India and over 2000 children globally.
