The Hindu Business Line : UB group CFO gets Udyog Ratna award

MR Ravi Nedungadi, President & Chief Financial Officer of the UB group, has been conferred with the Udyog Ratna Award by the Institute of Economic Studies.

Mr Nedungadi is credited with bringing in a sea change and transparency to the financial operations in the UB group. He played a key role in the recent acquisition of Shaw Wallace & Co by UB for Rs 1,300 crore.

He was also instrumental in the Rs 940-crore deal between Scottish & Newcastle Plc and UB last year, a company statement said.
