Cabinet panel renotifies Damodaran's appointment as Secy

New Delhi , June 3

THE Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Friday renotified Mr M. Damodaran, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India, in the rank and pay of a Secretary in his present post.

Mr Ashok K. Mohapatra has been appointed as the Chairman of the Tariff Commission under the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, in the rank and pay of Secretary.

Mr M.S. Srinivasan, currently Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has been renotified as Special Secretary in the Ministry.

Mr J. Sridhar Sharma has been appointed as Special Secretary n the Department of Telecommunications, by temporarily operating the vacant post of Secretary as Special Secretary.
