Workshop on forest produce

HYDERABAD: The National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) under the Union Ministry of Rural Development will organise a two-day national workshop on `Non-Wood Forest Produce (NWFP) policy' from June 7.

The workshop, slated to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, will discuss a regional policy framework for promoting forest-based livelihoods.
