New head of Symphony Data

HYDERABAD: Symphony Data, the Indian arm of the US-based STI Knowledge, on Monday announced the appointment of Mr Sandeep Madan as President for its Indian operations.

He joins Symphony Data at Hyderabad, post his stint as the Chief Operating Officer of Nipuna Services Ltd, the BPO subsidiary of Satyam Computer Services Ltd.

STI Knowledge is led by a high-profile entrepreneur Mr Satish Sanan, who grew his software venture, IMR Global, with 14 acquisitions in 4 years to a billion-dollar valuation in the late 90s.
