Hyderabad , June 7

THE Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has asked the State Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Board (APMAP) to work in coordination with the Girijan Cooperative Corporation, Forest Development Corporation and the Horticulture Department to expand its activities for the benefit of more number of farmers and other stakeholders.

Addressing the fifth meeting of the APMAP on Monday, he said farmers and tribals who cultivate and procure the medicinal and aromatic plant seeds should ultimately get the benefit. The Board should formulate its plans to realise this objective.
