The Hindu Business Line : AP: Single-window facility for sale of farm inputs

FIVE seed and agro input companies have joined hands to open a single-window facility called Rythu Seva Kendram, where farmers can sell quality seeds, farm inputs and fertilisers.

The five companies are Pragya Seeds, Eagle Seeds, Sagar Agro Inputs, Malwa Biotech Seeds and Ravi Seeds Corporation. These companies have agreed to sponsor the facility for one year.

The facility was opened by Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, at HACA (Hyderabad Agricultural Co-operative Association) building here on Wednesday. A retired Agricultural Department officer would give technical advice to the farmers at the facility. HACA has a membership of 794 cooperative societies.
