Agrometeorology workshop project in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The project co-ordination unit of the All- India Coordinated Research Project on Agrometeorology (Aicrpam), Crida, Hyderabad is holding a biennial workshop of the project on June 13-15 at the Crida premises.

The project is operating at 25 cooperating centres spread across the country at all the agricultural universities.

Crida Director, Dr Y.S.Ramakrishna, in a statement said that the workshop will discuss the progress made during the last three years at different centres of the project on agro-climatic characterisation, crop weather relationships, crop growth modelling, weather effects on pests and diseases and weather based agro-advisories.
