Ind-Swift posts Rs 9-cr Q4 net

NEW DELHI: Ind-Swift Laboratories has registered a net profit of Rs 26.48 crore, a 244.64 per cent rise in net profit for the year ended March 31, 2004, while total income during the period touched Rs 239.45 crore.

It has reported a 418 per cent rise in net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005, to Rs 9.06 crore from Rs 1.71 crore registered in the same period last year. The total income was up 84.03 per cent at Rs 83.22 crore (Rs 45.22 crore). The board has recommended a dividend of 15 per cent.

Mr V. K. Mehta, Joint Managing Director, Ind-Swift Labs, said, "The company's expansion plans are at advanced stages of completion and with new facilities becoming operational our capacities will grow substantially."
