Coca-Cola rolls out Sprite Ice

COCA-COLA has announced the roll out of its latest offering Sprite Ice to tingle the taste buds of the metro youth with the flavour of lemon and lime and a cooling sensation.

It will soon launch Maaza `Gold' orange.

Speaking to newspersons at the national launch of the product here today, Mr Vipul Saurabh, Senior Vice-President, said the cold drink would be available in a 600-ml blue-coloured bottle priced at Rs 18, and a 200-ml version at Rs 7.

Sprite Ice, first introduced globally in 2003 in Canada, is available in countries such as Italy, France, Belgium, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Mauritius, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Coca-Cola chose Hyderabad to do the national launch as its products today enjoy a market share of 80 per cent in Andhra Pradesh. It has invested in eight bottling plants and its range of products is available in two lakh retail outlets.

Mr Vikas Gupta, V-P (Marketing), said the product would be targeting the metro youth initially.
