ITC Infotech pact with PTC extended till 2008

ITC Infotech India Ltd (I3L) has extended until 2008 its strategic sub-contracting partnership agreement with PTC (PMTC, at Nasdaq), a US-based product development software producer.

The original I3L-PTC contract, firmed up in July 2003, was for 39 months. According to Mr Sanjay Verma, Managing Director of ITC Infotech, the success of I3L's engagement with PTC over the last two years has led to the extension of the partnership.

A company press release said that under the renewed contract, ITC Infotech will continue to provide implementation services for PTC's customers worldwide. I3L, a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC Ltd, is an SEI CMM Level 5 software services and solutions provider with offices in India, the US and the UK. Its focus has been on complete IT solutions for consumer packaged goods.
