Birla MF aims for third slot in industry

Hyderabad , June 16

BIRLA Sun Life Asset Management Company, the investment managers for Birla Mutual Fund, has set its eyes on third slot in the MF industry as a part of its medium term growth strategy.

Currently enjoying the fourth position with assets under management worth over Rs 11,000 crore, the mutual fund is targeting to improve its position, according to its National Head, Business Development & Sales, Mr A. Balasubramanian.

These measures include improving the market penetration in the form of setting up of new branches and franchisee outlets, increasing investor awareness through massive campaigns and enriching the product portfolio, he said. .In the process, the mutual fund also plans to significantly improve its retail investor portfolio.
