THE Executive Director of the National Institute of Design, Dr Darlie O. Koshy, has been given an extension in his post for another five-year term.

The Union Government conveyed its approval of the extension through the institution's Governing Council last week.

Mr Koshy, who took over fifth executive director of NID in 2000, has been responsible for upgrading the institution and starting key projects such as design incubation and design clinics.
