Tricom Q4 net up

MUMBAI: The Mumbai-based BPO company, Tricom India Ltd, has reported a net profit of Rs 1.16 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005, against Rs 40.3 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total income for this quarter stood at Rs 3.26 crore (Rs 2.26 crore), an increase of 44.21 per cent.

The company also reported a profit after tax of Rs 4.1 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005, compared with Rs 2.6 crore last fiscal. Total income in the same period increased to Rs 13.1 crore from Rs 9.4 crore last year, an increase of 40.2 per cent.

The company's board has recommended a 20-per cent dividend.
