CANADA-based telecommunication software solutions provider Redknee is looking out for acquisitions in India to significantly expand in size and operations.

Redknee is on the lookout for companies with an established product line that has already been delivered to customers in the global market, Mr Lucas Skoczkowski, Chief Executive Officer, said.

"We are in discussions with at least five Indian companies in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and are looking out for companies in the wireless, value-added services and billing products space." Redknee's next generation software delivers innovative services to over 25 tier I network operators globally, with over 185 million subscribers. It has touched the $90-million mark in cumulative revenues. Mr Skoczkowski said growth will also come from acquisitions, driven mainly in India and North America.
