Chambers express confidence

Our Bureau

New Delhi , June 18

THE reconciliation and amicable settlement between the Ambani brothers has been welcomed by the apex chambers today.

Reacting to the reconciliation, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said that the move would provide strength and stability to the Reliance empire.

CII hopes that with the reconciliation between the two brothers, India's largest business house would scale greater heights and continue to contribute to India's rise as a competitive and emerging economy in the world.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) too expressed similar sentiments. President Mr Onkar S. Kanwar, said, "I am happy that the Ambani brothers have arrived at an amicable settlement of pending issues. The entire corporate world and Reliance group shareholders were keenly looking forward to such a development at India's finest and most dynamic private sector companies."

The FICCI President expressed confidence that under the leadership of Mr Mukesh Ambani and Mr Anil Ambani, their group companies will grow from strength to strength.
