Air-conditioners & Refrigerators Voltas Q4 net up 18 pc at Rs 23 cr Our Bureau
MUMBAI: Voltas Ltd has reported an 18.23 per cent increase in net profit for the quarter ended March 31 at Rs 22.83 crore from the previous corresponding Rs 19.31 crore. Net sales/income from operations was up 22.65 per cent to Rs 499.70 crore (Rs 407.40 crore). For 2004-05, the Tata group company registered a 29.15 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 50.41 crore (Rs 39.03 crore) on an 8.38 per cent rise in net sales/income from operations to Rs 1,441.43 crore (Rs 1,329.94 crore). The board has recommended a dividend of 50 per cent (30 per cent) including a special dividend of 15 per cent, on equity shares of Rs 10 each.
