New Delhi , June 20

BRITISH Airways is offering a special fare that includes an additional baggage allowance for students travelling to the UK, the US, or Canada.

In a statement on Monday, the airline said that students booking under the special fare will be offered an additional 32 kg of baggage allowance or an extra piece of luggage weighing up to 32 kg when they are travelling to either the US or Canada.

In effect, this means that a student traveller will be allowed to carry 55 kg of free baggage allowance when travelling with the airline to the UK, Europe, the US, or Canada.

In order to facilitate passengers travelling from cities other than the four metros, the airline has tied up with Air Sahara to provide flight connections within the country.

Students availing themselves of the special fare scheme will have to begin their travel between July 1 and October 31.

The airline is also offering a economy class return ticket between Delhi and London at Rs 30,000.
