Letters Why governors?
Does India need governors? Does anyone know how much a governor costs taxpayers each year? Can we not do away the office of governors and save crores of tax payers' money each year? In a country where crores of people go to bed hungry and thousands commit suicides due to lack of food, won't it be wiser to not have so many governors? R.P. Rammohan Hyderabad
