Bengal to earmark more land for IT cos

THE West Bengal Government to acquire and earmark an additional 500 acres of land between Rajarhat New Town and Kolkata airport for IT and ITES companies.

Speaking to presspersons, after addressing a function held here on Thursday to mark the beginning of a work habitat project jointly by the Globsyn Group and Intelligent Infrastructure Ltd (estimated investment of Rs 150 crore), Mr Manab Mukherjee, West Bengal's Minister for Information Technology, said the 500-acre area would be developed in the public-private partnership domain.
