Ramco Systems board okays hike in share capital

Chennai , June 24

RAMCO Systems Ltd has informed the National Stock Exchange that its board of directors has approved an increase in the authorised share capital of the company from Rs 15 crore - comprising 1.5 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each - to Rs 30 crore - comprising 3 crore equity shares of Rs 10 each.

This is in view of the proposed issue of equity shares on rights for an amount not exceeding Rs 75 crore that was announced earlier, said a company official.

An extraordinary general body meeting of the company has been convened on July 22 to seek the approval of the shareholders for this, the communication to the exchange says.
