Our Bureau

MUMBAI: Air India has introduced a toll free number — 1600 22 77 22 — for round-the-clock access to its reservation offices in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Madhya Pradesh.

The calls will be handled by customer service agents who will provide services such as effecting reservations and re-bookings, and answering queries on flight information.

According to an official release, currently, the toll free number will be accessible for users of landline and mobile phones of MTNL and BSNL. Users of other mobile and landline service providers such as Orange, Airtel, Tata Indicom and Reliance could call on (022) 25489999 to avail themselves of this facility.

The toll free service will also be gradually extended to other cities, the statement said.
