Private Banks South Indian Bank plans more branches Our Bureau
Coimbatore , June 26 THE South Indian Bank plans to open branches in Bhopal, Indore, Shimla and in Assam shortly. "While extending our branch network we will also look for possible acquisitions in the North," the bank's Chairman and Chief Executive, Dr V.A. Joseph, said. The bank hopes to widen its branch network to 500 by 2008. It also plans representative office in Dubai to cater its NRI clients, who contribute about 35 per cent of the bank's total business.
