Hyderabad , June 28 A DUBAI-bound, Emirates Airline Airbus-330, carrying 188 passengers, was forced into an emergency safe-landing at the Hyderabad International airport, within an hour of take-off, following a bird-hit. The EK-527 flight, which took off at 10.20 a.m. was re-routed back, and landed safely at the Airport around 11.30 a.m. According to Airport officials, minutes after the take-off, a bird was sucked into the engine damaging two blades on the right side of the engine. The Pilot and the crew contacted the Airport and managed to manoeuvre the aircraft to safety without further damage. Incidentally, this is the second instance of a bird-hit within a week. According an Emirates Airlines spokesperson, the Carrier has taken all measures to assist the passengers. In addition to providing them food and accommodation, the Airliner was making arrangements for passengers to fly to Dubai with other airlines.
