Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Tata Consultancy Services, which is developing its corporate training facility in Technopark to world-class standards, will formally enter into an agreement on Friday with the State Government for taking over 26 acres of additional land adjoining its campus.

A TCS spokesman told Business Line here that the deal is worth Rs 7.8 crore, and will expand the land area under its ownership to a little over 40 acres. The existing facility stands over 14.5 acres of land.

Construction activities for expanding the facility are in full swing and, as on date, almost 40 per cent of the work has been completed, the spokesman added.
