A.K. Jha is new Secy, Dept of Economic Affairs

New Delhi , June 29

THE Government has appointed Mr A.K. Jha, an IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, as Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance. Mr Jha is currently Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

An official release also said that Dr Rakesh Mohan, who was hitherto Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, has now been appointed as Deputy Governor of RBI.
