Sathavahana Ispat doubles capacity

HYDERABAD: Sathavahana Ispat Ltd has nearly doubled its hot metal installed capacity effective Thursday following the commissioning of auxiliary equipment as a part of the modernisation and expansion programme taken up.

The company has announced that its hot metal capacity at the existing manufacturing facility now stands increased to 2.1 lakh tonnes per annum from the existing level of 1.2 lakh tpa.

The company informed the stock exchanges that its board has recommended a dividend of 12 per cent.
