Insurance staff support AP transport stir

HYDERABAD: The Insurance Corporation Employees' Union (ICEU) has expressed its solidarity with the AP Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) employees, who began an indefinite strike on Monday.

In a press release here, ICEU has appealed to the State Government to end the strike by initiating continuous and proper dialogue for an amicable and fruitful settlement of the long-pending problems of RTC employees.

The State Government should make conscious efforts to solve the genuine issues of the employees instead of passing the buck to all and sundry, the ICEU General Secretary, Mr Clement Xavier Das, said.
