Hyderabad , July 4

THE Boston Group, an IT Solutions provider, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with the Asosiasi Asuransi Jiwa Indonesia (AAJI) to develop and deploy Indonesia's first online training program in life insurance.

AAJI is Indonesia's apex regulatory body for life insurance and the Boston Group will develop localised online content suited to Indonesia's life insurance market.

The deal includes implementation of the Boston Consulting Group technology platform to deliver and manage the online training model.

The content development work will be executed from the Boston Group's Hyderabad offshore development centre. The online training initiative is expected to impact 50,000-plus users and include employees from almost 35 banks.

The Boston Group, along with its local partner in Indonesia, PT. Mitra Integrasi Komputindo (MIK), won the project. It has teamed up with Hyderabad-based International Institute of Insurance and Finance, an institute offering post-graduate studies in insurance & risk management, to provide subject matter inputs for the online training curriculum of AAJI. MIK is helping in localising the content to Bahasa language.
