Abu Dhabi , July 4

AIR Arabia LLC has added an additional daily flight from Sharjah to Mumbai from July 1 to 16, to cope with the increasing demand over the summer season.

"The Mumbai route has been one of the most popular for both business and leisure travellers," commented Mr Harish Kutty, Head of Planning & Revenue Management for Air Arabia.

"Summer is a peak travel time, with people travelling between the UAE and India to visit family and friends, and we are pleased to be able to offer them more flight choices at an affordable fare," according to a statement from the airline.

The additional flights offer a convenient and affordable opportunity for students and families travelling home during the summer.

It also provides holidaymakers with the opportunity to explore India during the monsoon season.
