New Delhi , July 4

AIR INDIA is to further spread its wings into South-East Asia. The airline is to launch a daily flight from Delhi to Hong Kong from July 7.

Announcing the launch, the AI's Commercial Director, Mr V.K. Verma, said that while the flight would operate onwards to Seoul on four days of the week, on the remaining days it would proceed to Osaka from Hong Kong.

The airline will be operating to Seoul after a gap of eight years.

Besides, AI is also doubling the frequency of flights to Shanghai from two flights a week to four and will offer thrice-a-week connection to Kuala Lumpur from here.

The recent induction of three leased Airbus A-310 aircraft has helped the airline launch the new flights.
