`Sarkar doing well at box office'

SARKAR, the film directed by Ram Gopal Varma and distributed by K Sera Sera Productions Ltd, has fared well in the opening weekend of its release.

K Sera Sera has informed BSE that the movie has had nearly 100 per cent collection all over the country. It had released 400 prints worldwide.

Inox, the multiplex chain has also recorded its highest revenue collection for the movie with a gross collection of Rs 58 lakh across six multiplexes in the country.

During the weekend, the Inox multiplexes in Pune, Kolkata, Goa and Mumbai also recorded the highest box office collections in each of the cities respectively, with films like Parineeta and War of the Worlds sustaining high collection figures along with the current release of Sarkar.
