HYDERABAD: The M L Jaisimha Cricket 365 Academy, the indoor cricket facility inaugurated by former Indian captain, Mr Bishan Singh Bedi here on Thursday, will hold `Field turf corporate indoor cricket tournament' from July 29.

An Academy press release said here on Friday that it aimed to be a nursery for cricketing talent in the city. Besides holding coaching camps, the academy was also open for corporates and for families who wanted a healthy fun option to "pubbing and coffee shop-hopping."

The 8,000-sq ft facility comprised a playing area of 4,000 sq ft where Field Turf, a next generation permanent grass from the US, was used. "It is being introduced for cricket for the first time," it said.
