Life Insurance LIC adjudged most preferred insurance co Our Bureau
Mumbai , July 10 RESEARCH firm AC Neilson ORG MARG has adjudged Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) as `the most preferred life insurance company in the country'. It conducted a survey for the channel `Awaaz' in which 7,000 respondents from 21 cities participated. According to a press release, the survey was conducted to inform consumers about the attributes they preferred in various brands as well as to create awareness among advertisers about the parameters on which a particular brand is preferred over others. Mr A.K. Shukla, Chairman, LIC, said, "The power to choose, to spend and to make or break a brand ultimately rests with the consumers and, hence, this award is of special significance, as it has been the consumer's verdict".
