Hyderabad , July 12

HQ LINK Private Ltd, a Singapore-based organisation, would organise a series of trade fairs in Hyderabad from October 6 to 8, according to Mr C.V. Atchut Rao, President of Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI).

The three-day event would cover the fields of agriculture machinery, food processing and packaging machinery and pharmaceutical machinery, he told newspersons here today.

The 25th India International Trade Fair - 2005 (IITF) would be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi during November 14-17.

In a presentation on the fair here on Monday at the FAPCCI, Ms Naseem Ishaque, Deputy General Manager of India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), said the fair attracted more than 7,000 companies from India and 380 from 28 countries.

The organisation expected more participation this year. She, along with other ITPO officials, was in the city to promote the upcoming expo.

The ITPO officials said the organisation would conduct 72 trade fairs overseas.

Mr Rao said the annual event would provide a platform for the manufacturers, traders, exporters and importers to display their products and interact with customers.
