SriLankan Airlines offers cricket holiday package

SRILANKAN Airlines has announced a special cricket holiday package to attract visitors from Kerala for the tri-nation cricket tournament scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka from July 30 to August 9.

According to Ms Asha Subramanian, Sales Manager - Thiruvananthapuram, SriLankan Airlines Ltd, the packages are valid for a minimum of two passengers travelling on the Thiruvananthapuram-Colombo-Thiruvananthapuram sector.

While the special packages are valid only for passengers travelling on the evening flight from Thiruvananthapuram, the airline also has similar packages on its morning flight and also offers customised packages based on customer requirements, she added.

The airline offers passengers the option of choosing either a `Dambulla package' or a `Colombo package'. The standard package to the matches at Dambulla is priced Rs 12,999 and the deluxe package Rs 13,999 per person. The standard package to the matches at Colombo costs Rs 11,599 and the deluxe package Rs 12,999 per person.

Each package includes return economy class airfare from Thiruvananthapuram, hotel accommodation for three nights and four days on a bed and breakfast basis, airport transfers, all taxes, one complementary ticket to a cricket match and a half-day tour of Colombo city, she explained.
