Dr Reddy's launches Colostrum in tie-up with New Zealand co

DR REDDY'S Laboratories, in collaboration with Symbiotics of New Zealand, has launched `New Life Colostrum'.

The product would be available in chewable form for the first time in India.

According to the company, colostrum is a nutrient rich natural substance produced by all female mammals during the first 72 hours after giving birth. It has ingredients, which help in providing immunity to the newborn.

New Life Colostrum is considered the World No.1 colostrum brand and is derived from bovine colostrums, the company said.

According to Dr Reddy's, colostrum is widely studied to offer clinical advantages in the prevention and treatment of several gastrointestinal infections of both bacterial and viral origin.

New Life Colostrum prevents infections among children and is a useful supplement for children suffering from recurrent infections.
