BANGALORE: Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Ltd has inducted Mr Shigeru Tomonoga as Deputy Managing Director of the company in place of Mr M. Seki. Mr Tomonoga joins the company's top management team of Mr A. Toyoshima, Managing Director, and Mr K.K. Swamy, Deputy Managing Director. Mr Tomonoga, who has been with the Toyota's plant in Japan for over 30 years, has come at a time when the product mix at the Toyota Kirloskar plant at Bidadi here is to accommodate the increasing demand for Innova, a company spokesman said. He said Mr Tomonoga's role in Toyota Kirloskar Motor's growth will be critical since we are in the midst of coping with the production challenges posed by the success of Innova and are looking at increasing capacities."
