Plea against user's fee in Cochin International Airport

Our Bureau

KOCHI: The Kerala Air Passengers Association has demanded withdrawal of the user's fee being collected by Cochin International Airport Authority Ltd from international passengers. Mr Kurian P. John, General Secretary of the Association, said that there was no justification for collecting users fee since CIAL was running on profit.

He pointed out that no user's fee was being collected at the Karipur airport. The Karipur airport authorities were forced to stop collection of user's fee following a High Court order.
