`Acer Mall' launched in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Computer manufacturer Acer has launched its first `Acer Mall' in the city. The store, which opened for business today, will sell the company's entire range of products, including desktop computers and notebook computers, said Mr S. Rajendran, General Manager-Sales and Marketing, Consumer Product Group, Acer India Pvt Ltd.

With the opening of its Acer Mall in Thiruvananthapuram, the company now has four such stores in Kerala. The plan is to set up four more such exclusive retail outlets in the State by the end of the year, he said.

Nationally, the company expects to have 200 retail outlets, including 60 Acer Malls by the end of the year, he added. The company also plans to launch its range of digital cameras and LCD televisions in India, he said.
