THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Eminent film director Mr Adoor Gopalakrishnan will inaugurate the preview theatre at the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation's Film and Video Park in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday evening.
The Industries Minister, Mr V.K. Ebrahim Kunju, will be the chief guest at the function. A highlight of the inaugural ceremony will be the screening of the film Finding Nemo.
Among the most advanced preview theatres in the State, the one at the Park can seat up to 103 people and is part of the common facilities provided at the park. It uses an audio system that incorporates both the Dolby and DTS formats. The theatre's digital projector can accept digital video content from a computer and also from standard sources such as DVDs. The theatre can also be used to hold workshops and discussions, a press release said.
The Park, which is being positioned as a one-stop facility for filmmakers, has well-known entertainment companies such as Prasad Labs among its tenants. Also on the cards is an exclusive animation zone that will include an animation school.
